Safe Operations & Responsibility
Any business or individual that carries out work using airborne platforms must be approved for such operations and have gained specific permission to do this. In the UK, the Civil Aviation Authority is responsible for monitoring the industry and demands that operators meet minimum standards with regard to: -
• Safe Operating Procedures
• Pilot Skill levels
• Aircraft types and limits
• Public liability insurance
Aerospec has gained such approval from the CAA and has been granted a PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operations – formerly PFAW – Permission for Aerial Work). The company also holds specialist public liability insurance with an internationally recognised insurance company in accordance with EC 785/2004.
Remember, a responsible company makes it their business to ensure that they work to the highest degrees of safety - Aerospec will work with you to meet this goal.
